Jacqueline A. Oliver, Esq.
 is Former Senior Vice President
and General Counsel for RE/MAX Associates in San Diego,
CA where she was Chief Legal Officer, handling all corporate
legal matters as well as supervising all outside law firms.
Although now in private practice, she continues to act as their
legal counsel and as counsel to many of the most respected
real estate brokerages in San Diego.
Ms. Oliver successfully argued at the Court of Appeal in the
4th District--winning a reversal of the trial court decision. Ms.
Oliver was named "2009 Volunteer of the Year” for Education
and Risk Management by the San Diego Association of
REALTORS
®
.
Ms. Oliver was a National Science Foundation Science
Teacher before becoming Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Grand Central, Tarzana CA.
(1994). Ms. Oliver received her first real estate license in 1983 from the State of
Arizona and her first California DRE license in 1985.
Before her General Counsel
position, Ms. Oliver practiced private civil law in the areas of real estate and business
litigation. Licensed to practice law in 4 Western states (CA, AZ, HI, NV), Ms. Oliver
continues to hold an active California Real Estate Broker’s license. 
Ms. Oliver received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from California Western
School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry
and Physics from the University of Arizona. While at CWSL, Ms. Oliver earned 4
American Jurisprudence Awards (highest grades in her class) in Commercial Real
Estate Transactions, Business Organizations, Civil Procedure and Legal Skills II. Ms.
Oliver is a former Adjunct Professor of Law for California Western School of Law
where she taught Commercial Real Estate Transactions for 5 years. She presided as a
pro bono Certified Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau from 2000 to 2015.
Ms. Oliver is a concert pianist and jazz/blues vocalist. She and her husband enjoy travel.
